Method Of Evaluation

The method of evaluation is based on, and changes depending on the circulars issued by the CBSE Board from time-to-time. Currently the following method is being observed:

Evaluation For Std X:

1 External Board examination written 80%
2 Internal assessment 20%
  a) Periodic Test (Best 2) 5%
  b) Multiple Assessment 5%
  c) Portfolio Assessment 5%
  d) Subject Enrichment Activity 5%

 

Evaluation For Std XII:

1 Board Examination 70% - 80%
2 Practical Examination 20% - 30%
(A pupil should get a minimum of 33% both in theory and practical examination)

 

The Following Grades Are Awarded Based On The Below Mentioned Performance:

Top 1/8 Marks A1
2nd 1/8 Marks A2
3rd 1/8 Marks B1
4th 1/8 Marks B2
5th 1/8 Marks C1
6th 1/8 Marks C2
7th 1/8 Marks D1
8th 1/8 Marks D2
(Below 33% - Fail Graded As E

 

Internal Assessment consists of Projects, Quizzes, Research Work, Assignment, and class interactions.The Board Exams consist of multiple choice questions (MCQ), short answer and long answer questions. These examinations will be held at the end of the academic year of class XII

Individual attention is given to each child and his/her progress assessed. Special coaching classes are arranged wherever necessary.
