By completing the installation of a 26 KW Solar power plant on the 1st Of October 2020, Kotagiri Public School has gone green now.
It's the first school in Kotagiri and the first CBSE school in the Nilgiris to install a solar plant.
The latest generation of solar inverter from Solis - Ginlong Technologies with advanced power control and dynamic MPPT technology with peak efficiency of 98.99% has been installed. An advanced SCADA (web monitoring) by which the solar powerplant is connected to the world wide web makes it very easy for monitoring and managing the system.
